Here’s what we’re working on right now. Our experimental studies follow a protocol that includes two stages of peer review and publication as well as preregistration of the methodology. Both experimental and exploratory studies record and make study data publicly available upon publication.

Within-Subjects Voting Method Comparison
STUDY QUESTION
How do voter satisfaction and ballot outcomes differ across voting methods when applied to the same elections?
We’re using a within-subjects design that asks respondents how they would vote under different voting methods as well as use an honest assessment scale. This allows us to see how well different voting methods accurately capture candidate support. This gives us a better understanding of which voting methods ultimately do a better job.
