SUPPORT Our Work
Ballot Lab takes the guesswork out of election reform.
Your support helps us produce public-interest research, open-access reports, and practical tools so that election reforms are based on evidence.

Your Impact
What your donation supports
Donations fund three streams of open-published work.

Experimental Research
Hypothesis-driven studies with preregistered designs, formal statistical analysis, and two stages of peer review. Our current pipeline includes a within-subjects study of how voter satisfaction and ballot outcomes differ across voting methods. Your gift funds study design, participant data collection, and analysis.

Exploratory Research
Smaller-scope studies that surface patterns and build frameworks without formal hypothesis testing. One of our projects includes developing a unified metric for comparing proportionality across electoral systems. These projects identify the most promising directions for deeper study. Your gift helps us follow important questions that others overlook.

Reports Using Best Practices
Open-access reports built on model research protocols: preregistration, transparent methods, and data and code that anyone can check. Your gift keeps rigorous evidence free and usable for policymakers, journalists, and advocates.
